Add realistic drop shadow effects with one click!
 
This set of 12 Photoshop actions lets you add photo-realistic drop shadow effects to your outlined images. Great for designers looking to create their own Photoshop scenes, the shadows are more organic and random than the stock Photoshop drop shadow effect and provide the flexibility to create a more realistic image. Rotate, distort or warp the independent shadow layer to refine the shadows to fit your image. You can also add multiple shadows and adjust the position and opacity for even more realistic effects.
 
The set includes 12 different actions designed to give a range of shadows and edge blur as well as the option to cast the shadow to either the left or right side. Each action creates a new independent layer under your outlined photo and names it “Shadow”. Load these actions just as you would as any other Photoshop action set.

HOW TO LOAD THESE ACTIONS
 
Step 1. Download the actions to your computer and un-zip the zipped file.
 
Step 2. Go to the Photoshop file folder on your computer in your Applications folder. Open the Presets folder and then open the Actions folder.
 
Step 3. Drag the unzipped “Realistic Drop Shadows.atn” file to the Actions folder.
 
Step 4. In Photoshop, open the Actions Palette (Window Actions) and click on the little lines in the upper right corner of the palette to open the drop down and select “Load Actions…”
 
Step 5. Locate and select the “Realistic Drop Shadows.atn” file from your Actions folder (on your computer).
 
Step 6. The action set is now loaded into your Photoshop Actions palette and are ready to use!
